Work Location: Arnprior & District Museum
Reports to: Museum Curator
Hourly Wage: $17.00/hr
Hours of Work: Normal work hours shall be 35 hours per week.
The Town of Arnprior has an exciting opportunity at the Arnprior & District Museum for a Children’s Program Coordinator/Facilitator to lead and coordinate the Canada at Play exhibit. The exhibit will run from September 6th to November 10th and will be a feature of the Fall season looking at Children’s toys of the past and how they have evolved since that time. The Program Coordinator/Facilitator will conduct tours and activities designed primarily for children, especially school groups. The main responsibility of the Program Coordinator/Facilitator will be to promote the exhibits, interpret the exhibits through researching and collaboration with museum staff, and to organize school class tours. The successful candidate shall enjoy working with children and persons of all ages, have previous experience promoting and facilitating similar instructional activities, possess general knowledge of the Town of Arnprior & District heritage and culture, be experienced with computers and be efficient in coordinating multiple demands, schedules, and people.
