Valley Manor Inc. is a private, non-profit, 90 bed long term care facility that is regulated under the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. it is located in Barry’s Bay.

We are currently recruiting for a part-time Accountant. This person will be responsible for various accounting functions, as well as a back-up support for payroll and benefit administration.

  • Post secondary education in accounting or diploma in business administration
  • Minimum of three years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
  • Advanced skills in computer technology, preferably with Great Plains, Sage 300 (ACCPAC), and Microsoft Office programs (specifically Excel)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Knowledge of financial statement preparation
  • Ability to work independently and to self-prioritize to meet deadlines
