Job Description
Working as an administrative assistant and financial officer for the manager of the Community & Student Affairs Department, the incumbent is accountable for the effective operations of the department through the provision of administrative support. Primarily, the incumbent’s duties include department human resources and financial processes; monitoring of budgets; providing administrative support to the campus’ Employment Ontario programs and contracts; event planning and implementation; the creation of marketing materials; practicing effective client service principles and providing support to students.
The position requires some evening and weekend work during peak recruitment periods and can often be very demanding, requiring the incumbent to multi-task and set priorities.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a (2) two-year Office Administration-Executive Diploma;
Minimum of (3) three years’ experience working in a complex office environment with multiple responsibilities and deadlines;
