We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper. Position will be 30 hours per week to start, and may increase as required.

Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Answer phone, take messages
  • Schedule appointments
  • Bookkeeping (acounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation)
  • Invoicing and job costing
  • Government remittances HST, payroll deductions, and WSIB
  • Prepare year-end documents for Accountant
  • Record employees time on work orders and in accounting program
  • Payroll
  • Process credit card payments, reconcile statements
  • Receiving material checking orders for accuracy
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Post-secondary education in administration an asset
  • Minimum one year experience
  • Knowledge of Sage (Simply Accounting) program and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently will little supervision
