THE ROLE

Under the supervision of the Mess Manager, the Bar and Function Supervisor plans, organizes, staffs and directs all bar activities and events according to established policies and regulations. They also monitor and order liquor and bar supplies.

 


QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

High school diploma and several years of experience in hospitality, food and beverage service industry

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Ontario (18 years of age)

Smart Serve certification or equivalent

Experience

Providing and supervising hospitality services

Organizing and planning events, banquets and functions

Bar operations

Budget administration

Cash handling

Inventory control

Personnel administration

Competencies, Skills and Abilities

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

 


LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English Essential
