W. O. Stinson & Son Ltd. is currently recruiting for a full-time Commercial Sales Account Manager in the Ottawa Valley.

The key to the Account Manager’s success will be their ability to manage their day-to-day operational requirements, improve efficiency in customer sales. The Account Manager ensures that financial objectives are met by growing volumes, controlling margins, expenses, and delivering exceptional service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop excellent relationships with customers by providing them with attentive personalized service that exceeds expectations.
  • Grow the business through individual efforts and leveraging of industry contacts, and effective sales practices.
  • Maintain safe, efficient and clean operation of company assets including vehicles, stations, bulk plants, card locks, etc.
  • Monitor and demonstrate accountability in the financial performance.
  • Motivate, and provide support to all employees, assisting them in the consistent delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Build effective relationships with suppliers and contracting services, to grow the company’s customer base, and staying up to date on product specifications and their benefits to the customer.
Qualifications
  • Five or more years of relevant sales experience within the fuel, propane, lubricant industry is highly desirable.
  • Written and oral skills in both English and French is preferred.
  • Experience in sales in a customer service-oriented environment.
  • Previous sales experience effectively working with a team.
  • Strong computer skills. Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer programs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills, and exceptional business integrity.
  • Ability to display initiative and demonstrate sound business judgment.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
