Marianhill is a charitable, long-term care facility located in the beautiful Ottawa Valley. We provide specialized care for 200 long-term and complex continuing care residents. We also provide a three-bed hospice palliative care unit.


Marianhill is currently recruiting for a Community Residential Program Worker. This position is part-time and is located in Petawawa.


Under the direction of the Coordinator of Assisted Living, the Community Residential Program Worker assists with the provision of resident care. Duties are performed in accordance with Marianhill’s mission statement, established policies and procedures, current legislation and in a manner that respects the uniqueness, dignity, worth, self-respect, self-determination and autonomy of our residents to promote maximum independence.


  • Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent
  • Current CPR certification
  • Food server training
  • Oral and written proficiency in English
  • Excellent attendance
  • Must live within 20 minutes of location due to standby



  • Experience independently providing care in a geriatric and dementia care community setting
  • Experience working in a computerized health care setting
  • Oral and written proficiency in French is preferred
Additional Information
This position works varied shifts in Petawawa.


Rate of pay:  $20.81 per hour (CUPE Local 2764 +14% in lieu of benefits and 4% in lieu of benefits).
