Marianhill is currently seeking a Cook. This is a relief position.

Under the direction of the Nutrition Services Manager, the Cook assists with the provision of resident care. Duties are performed in accordance with Marianhill’s mission statement, established policies and procedures, current legislation and in a manner that respects the uniqueness, dignity, worth, self-respect, self-determination and autonomy of our residents to promote maximum independence.

• Cook certificate of qualification issued by the Ministry of Education of Colleges and Universities of Ontario.
• Completion of a current certificate of the Food Handler Certification program offered by the public health department.
• One year of experience in an institutional kitchen setting or related organization.
• Excellent attendance is essential.
• Oral and written proficiency in English is required, oral and written proficiency in French is preferred.

• Rate of pay:  $22.79 per hour  (CUPE Local 2764 +14% in lieu of benefits)
