Must have the ability to work in an environment which is subject to hot and cold temperatures.
Must exercise good written and verbal communication skills.
Must demonstrate concern and interest in the well being of the residents.
Must have the ability to be tactful, friendly and extremely patient when interacting with residents.
Must have the physical capabilities compatible with the current physical demands analysis for this position.
Grade 12 education.
Food Service Worker certification course approved by Dietitians of Canada and the Ontario Society of Nutrition Management.
A current certificate in the Food Handler Certification Program offered by the Public Health Department.
Experience in a Food Service environment preferred.
Oral and written proficiency in French considered an asset.
Excellent attendance is essential.
Hours of Work: All Shifts
Rate of Pay: As per CUPE 2764 Collective Agreement $20.24 – 20.89 per hour
