Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation (AoPFN)is a proud and progressive Algonquin community. Pikwakanagan is situated on the shores of Golden Lake and the Bonnechere River in Renfrew County. Located off of Highway 60, our community is 90 minutes west of Ottawa and 90 minutes hours east of Algonquin Park.


We are currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant to Manager, Health Services. This is a full-time position for one year due to a leave replacement.


The Executive Assistant will provide executive and administrative services and assistance to the Manager, Health Services in all matters pertaining to the day-to-day operations and management of the health services department. The Executive Assistant will provide executive and administrative assistance in meeting the established goals and objectives of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan.

  • Successful completion of relevant post-secondary education
  • One year of relevant work experience
  • In lieu of the above, Grade 12 education with three years of extensive work experience
