Salary: $550 – $650 per week
Description:
Camp Lau-Ren is a camp of the United Church of Canada.  We are located on the Ottawa River, 10 kilomentres west of Deep River. We provide residential ,three-day camps and six-night summer camps (Tadpole Camp for 6-8 year olds). Our Leaders-in-Training Camp runs alongside the Senior Camp, and registration is limited.  We offer one all-girls camp and the remainder are co-ed. Children enjoy canoeing, paddle boarding, archery, swimming, life study, crafts, sports, campfires and so much more.

All children are welcome. Subsidies are available for children who need financial assistance to attend our summer camp. If you want to make a difference in a young person’s life, then working at Camp Lau-Ren is for you!  We support a healthy enjoyable work experience for all our staff.

We are recruiting for a Floater. The Floater will be required to act as floater between all jobs at Camp as needs arise.

Qualifications
  • Must have their National Lifeguard certification
  • Be prepared to obtain a Pleasure Craft Operators card
  • Prepared to work in a team environment
  • Minimum age of 16 is required
