Contract
EB Solution is a telecommunication company that provides National IT Roll-Outs. We are looking to grow our team of Structured Cabling Technicians. We require intermediate to senior skill level Technicians. You MUST supply your own communications hand tools, any specialty tools will be provided. You are required to have regular computer access as work will be dispatched remotely. Compensation is based on individual skill, knowledge and experience.

This is a subcontractor role.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in English language – both spoken & written
  • Neat appearance and good customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license & access to a reliable vehicle
  • Must have your own tools (e.g. Ladder, Drill, CAT5 Tester)
  • Knowledge of network cabling & products
  • Must know how to run and terminate Cat 5/6 cables
  • Has the Knowledge, training and experience to operate the scissors lift

Duties:

  • Installation, termination, & testing of Cat5e, 6/6a, UTP cable & multimode fiber
  • Work schedule: days, evenings, weekends & overtime as required by the project
  • Follow safe work practices
  • Report directly to job sites in the assigned area, surrounding areas
