Quantum Management Services has partnered with one of the region’s top employers and is seeking the expertise of a Manager of Administrative Services. This position plays a vital role as part of the Management team and reports directly to the President in the development, analysis and reporting of critical areas, such as the multi-year budget, operating costs, projections and revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role as part of the Management team and ensure all business process design and re-design initiatives are executed efficiently and timely to the benefit of the organization
  • Provide leadership and management expertise to the administrative and ancillary services departments
  • Provide finance/accounting expertise and act as “subject expert” to the organization; advise on short and long-term vision coupled with strategic plans and execution
  • Support varied areas of the organization and direct/oversee the integrity and accuracy of all finance and accounting functions within the company

What you need to succeed in this role:

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation – preferred
  • College degree in Business Administration, with a focus in HR, Accounting/Finance and Strategic Planning
  • 8+ years of experience in the public or private industry (ideally) and 5 years of supervisory or management experience
  • Sound knowledge and expertise in financial management systems
  • Demonstrated experience and confidence to manage a large financial, budget and accounting system
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to multitask, interpret and apply business policies and procedures
  • Solid interpersonal skills and expertise in coaching, problem solving, negotiating and conflict resolution
  • Effective, articulate and professional communication skills in English, both written and spoken
