PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKERS
Temporary/Relief — Competition #18-20

Qualifications:

  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent as per O. Reg. 79/10 of the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007
  • Certificate – Food Safety Awareness Program recognized by a Public Health Unit
  • Ability to work well with others in a team approach, and adapt to changing situations
  • Physically capable of performing assigned duties within a flexible work schedule inside a 24 hour a day 7 day a week operation

Compensation: $24.03 – $24.37 per hour. No benefits.


FOOD SERVICE WORKERS
Relief — Competition #18-21

Qualifications:

  • Certificate – Food Service Worker Program, as approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and recognized by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care OR Diploma – Cook/Chef course from an established college or have attained Interprovincial Standards Red Seal Program status or an equivalent pro- gram as determined by the employer
  • Certificate – Food Safety Awareness Program, as approved by a Public Health Unit
  • Ability to perform shift work requirements in a 24 hour a day, “7 day a week” operation

Compensation: $23.13 – $23.63 per hour. No benefits.
