P-12-21 Storesperson – Materials Management

REQUIREMENTS:

• • Grade XII diploma

• • Previous experience in stores

• • Experience in inventory management of medical/surgical supplies

• • Experience using Great Plains Dynamics inventory module

• • Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm which will be evaluated through standardized test

• • Ability to work as a team member

• • Must be in good health and able to receive, store and distribute a large volume of heavy goods

• • Proper body mechanics and lifting technique must be demonstrated

• • Must pass the functional testing relating to the essential physical demands of the job

• • Valid driver’s license

• • Good organizational skills

• • Computer knowledge and ability to meet physical demands

• • Must have demonstrated ability to meet the attendance standards of the Hospital

• Bilingualism is an asset
