Description:
The Deep River & District Hospital is currently recruiting for a Project Manager, Clinical Strategy & Innovation. This is a full-time position Until Approximately March 31, 2018.

The Project Manager, Clinical Strategy & Innovation will assist and drive priorities/goals/activities to advance integration of services, advancement of electronic health records, and the development of an integrated model of care in the community.

The position will drive:

  • The development of integrated governance structures or formal relationships between hospitals and other health care organizations under an integrated model of care.
  • The development of leadership capacity under an integrated model of care.
  • The development or implementation of project management, decision support, or other mechanisms or processes to connect hospitals and other health care organizations under an integrated model of care.
  • The adoption of ehealth technologies or alignment with provincial ehealth priorities and the recommendations of the organization’s Hospital Information System Renewal plan
Qualifications
  • Regulated health professional designation, bachelor’s degree or master’s degree required
  • Certification and/or training in quality and risk management preferred
  • Courses in MS applications, document management or demonstrated competence required
  • Project management training or experience
  • Strong working knowledge of project management and change processes required
  • Knowledge of clinical services and their integration
  • Experience leading teams and people required
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities required
  • Advanced skills as a consensus builder, conciliator and negotiator required
  • Innovation and creativity required
  • Demonstrated exemplary interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required
  • Ability to work with constantly changing deadlines and priorities required
  • Must agree to adhere to the DRDH Standards of Behaviour required
