Renovation Carpenter

Job Location: Pembroke, Ontario

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of carpentry experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Strong rough and finished carpentry skills
• Knowledge of building techniques
• WHIMIS, Fall Arrest (Working at Heights), First Aid, and Propane certifications are an asset
• Ability to work with other team members

• Passion for high-end projects

Responsibilities:

• Skilled manual labour in construction, renovations and remodelling work
• Clean and perform preparation of work-site
• Operate various hand and power tools to complete projects
• Complete tasks as per work schedule meeting strict deadlines and standards

• Make adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Perform minor repairs on appliances,
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies,
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair,
• Kitchen & bathroom remodelling
• Window & door installations
• Flooring repair and installation – hardwood, laminate, tile
• Work with minimal supervision
• Other tasks as assigned

Job Type: Contract (Full Time)

Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
