| The Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre (OVWRC) is a municipal partnership between six municipalities. We opened in 2002 and we provide waste processing services for the partner municipalities as well as other communities throughout Renfrew County. OVWRC has become a leader in waste recovery and management in Ontario.
Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre is recruiting for two Summer Students – Maintenance Workers. These are full-time positions, up to 40 hours per week from May 3, 2021 to August 27, 2021. These roles are Monday to Saturday.
The Maintenance Works work with the maintenance department. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for general labour duties. The Maintenance Workers perform general labour duties including grass cutting and trimming, paper and litter pick-up, weeding, directing traffic, cleaning, sweeping and vehicle washing. | |
