Employment Service has a team of professionals who understand the unique challenges of military life.
If you are a Military spouse we can:
- tell you about the local labour market
- help you to tailor your resume and cover letter to make it attractive to local markets
- offer information about programs, services and training that are available to you
If your profession requires a unique license (i.e. hairdresser,teacher, nurse, etc.) we can tell you more about the requirements in our area, and how you can apply. For more information, call us at either location.
In addition to these local programs, Military Family Services offers a number of programs for Military Spouses at a National level. These include on-line training for job seekers and support for those entrepreneurs building their own businesses. Recently MFS introduced a new program called the Military Spousal Employment Network, which is a suite of employment programs to help spouses to access employers and opportunities across the country. This includes an on-line job board and virtual career fairs.
