The Administrative Resource provides administrative support to the office of the Vice Presidents of Clinical and Support Services, Clinical Directors, Managers, Coordinators and Clinical Leadership teams including Physicians to support key functions of quality improvement work, safety, risk, research, data collection and departmental supporting structures and working in an environment requiring extreme confidentiality and discretion.

  • Two (2) year diploma in Office Administration from a community college or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two (2) years of experience in an office setting
  • Demonstrated minimum typing ability of 60 wpm which will be evaluated through a standardized test
  • Experience and proficiency with a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Access
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to balance multiple priorities and work within deadlines
  • Minute taking skills an asset
  • Medical Terminology certificate an asset
  • Medical Affairs experience an asset
  • Embodies the LEAN ideology by actively and continually seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to meet the attendance standards of the Hospital
  • Bilingualism preferred (French/English)
