Murphy Ford is a third-generation Ford dealership that has been a part of the Ottawa Valley community since 1966. The service department is an integral part of our dealership. We provide a wide range of quality care services to help keep our customers’ vehicles in great shape all year.

We are currently recruiting for an Appointment Coordinator. This is a full-time position.

As a key member of our team, the Appointment Coordinator is often the main point of contact with our customers. You are responsible for booking service and sales appointments, and checking customers in and out. You meet our customers at all points of their experience with us.

The Appointment Coordinator must balance the needs of the customer with the availability of the service department, while providing exceptional service over the phone, by email and in-person.

Regular duties of this position include:

  • Answering telephone calls and emails and making appointments for customers for vehicle service or with the sales department
  • Directing all customer inquiries accordingly
  • Performing debit and cash transactions
  • Providing follow-up calls and emails for service
  • General reception duties
Qualifications
We are definitely looking for someone who truly enjoys dealing with the public and making people feel great when interacting with our dealership. Your customer service skills must be fantastic. You are a good listener, an effective problem-solver and a customer-first advocate. This is a team effort and helping coworkers is part of this position so being able to multi-task and being a team player are integral to this role.

Strong organizational skills, comfortable with computer work, using the internet and the phone are important. Previous experience in a customer service role will be an asset.

We will train the right person to enhance the qualities you bring to the position.

Additional Information
The position is Monday to Friday with possible occasional Saturdays as required.
