Automotive Detailer-Labourer

We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Detailer-Labourer. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Performing a thorough detailing and cleaning of all vehicles prior to final delivery to the customer
• Performing a pre-wash on vehicles prior to the actual repair process beginning and may also wash vehicles during estimating process in order to identify all damage
• Visually inspect every vehicle for flaws in the repaired area(s)
• Maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment in the detail department
• Keep personal work area organized and returns tools, materials and equipment to designated areas
• General property maintenance including grass cutting, trimming, and similar property-related work
• Cleaning the paved lots and performing minor lot repair
• Moving and aligning vehicles in appropriate positions on the lot
• Snow clearing of vehicles

• A valid driver’s licence
• Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with the customer and the Murphy Ford team
• Able to operate equipment in a safe manner
• An eye for details
• Punctual and reliable
• Able to operate small machinery including a lawn mower, whipper snipper and related equipment
