Axle’s Automotive is part of the NAPA AUTOPRO network of more than 600 service locations across Canada, with certified and licenced automotive technicians. With access to the latest diagnostic equipment and quality parts, they are dedicated to the proper servicing of your vehicle. We are a three-bay garage operation, located in Deep River. The current owner has worked at the location for 20 years.

We are recruiting for an Automotive Technician Apprentice who is working on their 310S license. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. We are closed Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on all makes and model of cars and light trucks
  • Work on gas, diesel, hybrid or fully electric vehicles
  • Assist with normal maintenance and repairs
  • Work with an alignment machine
  • Assist with undercoating vehicles, brake repairs, front-end work and additional repairs
  • Perform oil changes
  • Perform tire changes and rotations
Qualifications
  • Enrolled as a 310S apprentice
  • Full class G driver’s license
  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • Previous experience working as an apprentice or in an automotive role is required
  • Own set of basic tools
Additional Information
Pay will depend on skill level and experience. Pay is by the hour not by the job.
