Who We Are:

At Starz in Motion Dance Studio, we are in our 17th year of dance excellence with excitement and enthusiasm. As of now, we have approximately 300 plus students who are proud to call themselves Starz. This studio was opened to offer students, professional dance training for the recreational and competitive students who attend. Trained by certified instructors, Starz In Motion believes in making dance fun yet affordable to parents who support the dancers. We offer Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Acrobatics, Tot (2-3 year old’s) Lyrical, Highland, and Musical Theatre classes. We also have adult classes available.

The Ballet Instructor/Choreographer position is a full-time position at Starz in Motion Dance Studio that is designed to introduce individuals to the world of dance, through creative fun-loving teachers.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

• Choreograph creative dance routines at various levels that students can learn within an appropriate time frame
• Assist in preparing clients for competitions, and recitals meeting expectations for student progress
• Work on paperwork for students to ensure they are registered in the correct levels

Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if:

• A certified RAD ballet instructor with a minimum of 2-3 years of dance instructing experience
• You are an organized individual complying with the Royal Academy of Dance’s rules and regulations for examinations
• You enjoy being involved in the creation process for dance routines at a competitive and recreational level
• You have a demonstrated interest in and knowledge of dance
• You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
• You have the ability to overcome challenges presented by a constantly changing work environment
