St. John Ambulance is a voluntary agency dedicated to improving the health, safety, and quality of life of Canadians through training and community service. We have an opening for a Building Cleaner-Custodian. This is a contract position, working part-time, casual with flexible hours. What you will do: Maintain and clean all common areas within the property including stairwells, hallways, entrances, and washrooms Remove debris and change garbage receptacles Vacuum all areas Sweeping as needed Wash floors throughout Glass cleaning at entrances and doors Clean exterior of entrances, maintain and remove debris from walkways, paths and parking lot as needed Grass cutting and general yard maintenance for spring, summer and fall Report maintenance issues to the Branch Manager
Qualifications
Strong communication skills both verbal and written Good interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure Ability to follow a tight schedule Criminal background check Strong attention to detail
