The Town of Petawawa is the largest community in Renfrew County with more than 17,000 residents. Located along the Ottawa River, the municipality is home to Canada’s largest army base. Hosting festivals, events and programming year-round, Petawawa is an active community with recreation and culture programs for residents and visitors alike.
The Town of Petawawa is currently seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Building Inspector. This is a full-time position.
This position is responsible for reviewing and issuing permits, inspecting buildings that are being constructed and septic systems being installed to ensure compliance with legislation. This role also investigates complaints and enforces municipal by-laws as directed.

Rate of pay: $69,378.40 to $81,608.80 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience and based on a 35-hour work week. The town offers a pension and comprehensive benefits package.
