THE RENFREW COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD

requires the following

Casual Secretary Support

SCHOOL: County Wide – Depends on needs of schools

SCHEDULE: On-call basis – no set schedule or hours

RATE OF PAY:
$23.64/hour (Group 1)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of Grade 12 education plus an additional post- secondary program of up to one year or equivalent in a related discipline. Previous experience in the secretarial field would be an asset.

DUTIES: Under the direction of the Senior Secretary, Office Manager or designate, assist with the effective daily operation of the office. The candidate will be required to deal professionally and effectively with staff, parents, students and the public. Available for day to day assignments that normally fall in the period of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS: A high degree of initiative and independent judgement is required. Must be reliable. Familiar with computer systems including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Knowledge of Aspen would be an asset.
