Description:
The local, independent distributor for Wonder Bread has been operating in the area for 15 years. Wonder Bread delivers bread, buns, muffins and Little Debbie cakes to various grocers and convenience stores throughout the Upper Ottawa Valley and Killaloe regions. The business is independently owned and operated.

We are currently recruiting for a Delivery Driver-Merchandiser to join our team. This is a full-time position that is available immediately.

The Delivery Driver-Merchandiser is responsible for picking up orders at the Pembroke warehouse and delivering product throughout the region to various stores. This person also stocks the shelves at the stores to merchandise the product appropriately and takes orders from the store for the next delivery. The delivery vehicle is a five-tonne truck.

Upon return to the warehouse, the Delivery Driver-Merchandiser places the order with the warehouse for each customer.

Wonder Bread provides full training on merchandising and ordering procedures for this position.

Qualifications
  • Regular G driver’s licence
  • Two years of experience driving five-ton truck
  • Retail experience would be an asset
  • Customer service skills
  • Comfortable taking and adjusting orders
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Comfortable reporting maintenance issues and keeping logs for driving
  • Experience with the local area is an asset
  • To qualify for our corporate insurance, applicants must be over the age of 25
Additional Information
This position is five days a week at 45 to 50 hours.
