Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team. This role offers a dynamic blend of responsibilities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and enthusiastic about learning new technologies. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced, patient-centered, technology-driven environment, be able to work independently, and be skilled at managing time effectively.
• Lab support – All lab functions relating to the fabrication of dentures.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, filing, and organization of lab materials and supplies.
• Use of digital processes in denture fabrication – scanning and digital print production
• Prepare and operate digital scanners and 3D printers, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting
• Document and manage digital case files accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
• Maintain lab case logs, track case statuses, and assist in scheduling pickups and deliveries.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Be familiar with administrative processes to provide office administration and reception support
• Manage patient and case documentation accurately.
• Sterilization of dental tools & implements.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Disinfect and prepare operatories between patients.
• Provide clinical chairside assistance as needed.
• Perform general light cleaning in lab and clinic areas.
• Be open to learning new techniques, technologies, and processes.
• Stay updated on the latest digital denture workflows and technology advancements.
• Work independently and manage time effectively.

Job Requirements
Requirements:
Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Previous experience in a dental/medical/denture office or support role is an asset.
Experience with digital workflows (scanning/printing) is an asset.
Knowledge of dental anatomy, materials, and techniques is an asset
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to multitask.
Computer-literate and tech-savvy
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
