We currently have an opening for an Electrical Coordinator. This is a full-time position.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electrical Coordinator is responsible for the growth and development of the electrical team. This role will promote a safe and healthy work environment through team building, facilitating problem solving, and making recommendations for continuous process improvement (CPI). The incumbent is also responsible for managing resources to properly maintain equipment related to electrical power distribution, machinery and processes. This is a senior position within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with outside power utilities to minimize their disruptions to production
  • Analyze repairs and maintenance requirements in order to proactively address system weaknesses
  • Generate and revise standard operating procedures
  • Participate in manufacturing root cause analysis investigations on failures
  • Implement corrective and preventative actions to improve manufacturing operational efficiencies
  • Assist in capital planning for control systems replacement and upgrades
  • Coordinates contractor assistance as needed and requested
  • Follows and promotes health and safety policies and programs while modeling core values
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or Red Seal industrial electrician with 8-10 years of industrial electrical experience.

Preferred:

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong computer experience using programs such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, CMMS, PLC/DCS Software
