Floral Shop Associates

We are looking to add Floral Shop Associates to our team. These positions can be full-time or part-time. We are open Tuesday through Friday 10:00am-6:00pm and Saturdays 10:00am-4:00pm. We do have some evening and weekend work depending on the occasion for the flowers.

Astrid’s is looking for is someone who is excited about customer service. We deal with all of life’s occasions at the boutique, so we often meet customers at emotional times in their lives. From weddings to funerals and all times in between, a big part of the job is being supportive and assisting people.  We work as a team at Astrid’s, so being willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in where you’re needed is something we all do to support each other.

Additional duties of this position:

• Taking orders from customers both in person and on the phone
• Communicating with customers to understand their needs and answer any questions
• Tidying work spaces
• Processing flowers
• Delivering orders
• Ensuring a seamless and quality experience for customers beginning to end
• A willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate shop operations as needed

• Valid driver’s licence
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Customer service experience with excellent verbal communication skills
• Great interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to remain composed, particularly during stressful or uncomfortable circumstances
• Flower and plant knowledge is an asset, but we provide full training
