Description:
Water Depot carries a large assortment of water treatment products for your home, cottage or business. We provide water softeners, filtration, reverse osmosis, ultraviolet, U-Fill bottled water and other products. We also offer free water testing.

Water Depot, a Canadian, veteran-led franchise, will be opening in Petawawa in July 2025!

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Key Holder-Water Solutions Associate to join our launch team. This position is full-time, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 10:00am and 6:00pm. There is an occasional weekend rotation.

The successful applicant will be the friendly face that opens and closes the store, helps customers achieve safer, better-tasting water, and grows with us as we expand.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the store
  • Complete end-of-day cash reconciliation
  • Perform in-store water testing and clearly explain treatment options
  • Recommend, quote and sell water softeners, reverse-osmosis systems, filters and consumables
  • Merchandise shelves, receive inventory and assist with light warehouse tasks
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming showroom
  • Assist with social media promotions
  • Follow all company policies and health and safety procedures
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in retail, sales, or water treatment is an asset
  • Friendly, professional communicator who enjoys helping people
  • Mechanically inclined and willing to learn technical product knowledge
  • Self-motivated, organized and trustworthy
  • Able to work solo when required
  • Class G driver’s licence is an asset
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Information
We offer paid training for this position which includes a one-week program at Water Depot HQ in Newmarket, Ontario. Travel, hotel and meals are covered and your mileage is reimbursed.

We provide a sales incentive program and opportunities to progress as the store grows.
