Our lawyers also assist families with changing current relationships (divorces and custody) as well as planned future arrangements (wills and estates.) Bradley Law has three offices in the region – Pembroke, Barry’s Bay, and Deep River. We work collaboratively to provide professional and trusted legal services across Renfrew County.

We are recruiting for a Law Clerk to join our firm. This is a full-time position handling real estate, wills, estates, corporate and family law.  We welcome new and experienced Law Clerks and have roles for each as our firm continues to grow.

Responsibilities:

  • General Law Clerk duties include:
  • Transcribing and preparing legal documents
  • Organizing and expediting the flow of work while maintaining client files
  • Preparing standard legal documents for lawyer and client reviews
  • Handling inquiries in the lawyer’s absence
  • Providing exceptional service to the firm’s clients and potential clients
  • General administrative duties including photocopying, filing and correspondence
  • Ability to demonstrate time management and organization skills

Qualifications
  • Completion of post-secondary education in a Law Clerk program
  • A minimum of two years of experience is preferred, though we welcome new graduates
  • Basic knowledge of Unity and Teraview and PC Law
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word and Wordperfect
  • Ability to demonstrate time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations and sensitive information
