Description:
Mountain River Childcare Association and Children’s Junction Day Care is a licensed daycare in Deep River. We serve children up to age 12 and our services include before and after school programs.

Children’s Junction Daycare is looking to add Registered Early Childhood Educators (or equivalent) to be part of our team. We are looking for part-time staff to start, with the opportunity for additional hours. Positions work between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts, provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity.
Be able to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.
Qualifications
The successful candidates must have:

RECE diploma or similar experience
Criminal reference check, with a vulnerable sector check
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Up-to-date immunizations
Strong commitment to teamwork
Time management and communication skills
