Job Title: Part-Time Small Group Leader (Summer Contract) Location: 2147 Petawawa Blvd Job Type: Part-time, 8 Week Contract, 6 Weeks of Camps Contract Duration: Late June – August 2025 Pay: $18 – 20 / hr based on experience

Job Description Are you a compassionate, patient, and energetic individual with a passion for supporting neurodivergent children? We’re looking for a dedicated Part-Time Small Group Leader to join our small team for a summer day camp program. This is a contract position from late June through August, supporting a small group camp setting designed specifically for neurodivergent children.

Key Responsibilities:

● Provide hands-on support and supervision for children during camp activities

● Foster a positive, inclusive, and sensory-sensitive environment

● Assist with transitions, personal care, and behavior support when needed

● Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure safety and engagement

● Communicate with families and caregivers in a respectful, professional manner

Qualifications:

● Experience working with neurodivergent children (e.g., autism, ADHD, sensory processing challenges) is an asset

● Background in childcare, education, developmental services, or similar fields or relevant educational training

● Current or recent Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)

● First Aid/CPR certification is an asset

● Must be 18 years or older

Schedule & Hours:

● Part-time hours during weekdays (exact schedule TBD based on camp needs and applicant availability)

● Required availability for orientation/training prior to camp start
