Full job description
The Storesperson monitors and controls the flow of goods into and out of warehouses and other storage facilities. They check goods on arrival and before dispatch, ensuring they have the right products, in the correct quantity and that there is no damage.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of Grade 12 Education or equivalent education
- Over three (3) months of experience in Stores or Warehouse setting
- Valid G Driver’s Licence or equivalent
- Ability to drive hospital vehicles when required
- A knowledge of basic clerical functions including mathematics, filing, and data entry
- Experience using Great Plains Dynamics inventory module an asset
- A basic mechanical aptitude required to check and receive equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, pull and push equipment as needed
- Must be able to read, write, and follow written instructions in English
- Must be able to carry out duties with minimum supervision.
- Must be able to type 25 w.p.m.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
- Must be flexible and adaptable in a continually changing environment
- Embodies the LEAN ideology by actively and continually seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Must have demonstrated ability to meet the attendance standards of the Hospital
- Bilingualism preferred (French/English)
