Vehicle Dismantler

Responsibilities include:

• Dismantling vehicles as first step of recycling process
• Recognizing parts that are damaged or broken and reporting to inventory
• Performing high-level testing and quality control measures on all parts pulled
• Verifying stock, interchange, and invoice numbers
• Sorting parts to their respective locations in the warehouse
• Creating and maintaining a clean and safe working environment, complying with Occupational Health and Safety standards and requirements

Requirements include:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• AST Certification preferred, but not required
• Your own tools and safety equipment
• Must have a high mechanical aptitude and prior mechanical experience.
• Must have knowledge of proper operation of forklifts, loader, torches, power wrenches, etc.
• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to manage time effectively and work with little to no supervision
• Must be a good team player willing to assist with other duties as required

Wage is based on experience. Health and dental benefits available after 3 month probation period.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
