Job Description
Position: Bush Road Maintenance & Site Worker
Hourly wage: $20–24/hour (depending on experience)
Location: ZEC Dumoine, Rapides-des-Joachims, QC
Full-time – Seasonal position with possible renewal

Job Description:
ZEC Dumoine is seeking a hardworking and dependable individual to support bush road maintenance and general site upkeep across the territory. This role involves driving a pickup truck to access work sites and performing manual labour to maintain trails, roads, and facilities.

Responsibilities:

Patrol and inspect bush roads and trails.

Clear fallen branches and debris manually.

Repair potholes and washouts using hand tools and crushed stone.

Maintain culverts, ditches, and basic drainage.

Perform general maintenance tasks: signage, brush cutting, garbage pickup.

Assist with site improvement projects and small repairs as needed.

Report safety issues, road hazards, and material needs to the operations team.

Basic French an asset.

Job Requirements
Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and ability to drive on remote forest roads (4×4 pickup).

Good physical condition and able to perform physical labour outdoors.

Comfortable working independently in isolated, forested areas.

Reliable, organized, and proactive.

Basic understanding of bush safety and environmental stewardship.
