DG Kitchen & Bath is a locally owned and operated renovation and retail company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and home renovations.

We are recruiting for a skilled, reliable and hardworking Cabinet Installer-Carpenter to join our growing team. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their trade and pays close attention to the details of the job. You will be working on a variety of kitchen, bathroom and home renovation projects including:

  • Cabinet installation
  • Trim and finish carpentry
  • Framing and general carpentry
  • Tile installation
  • Flooring
  • Drywall and finishing
  • Countertop preparation and installation
  • General renovation and construction tasks
Qualifications
  • Experience with cabinet installation and carpentry
  • Experience working in home renovations and construction
  • Excellent attention to detail and takes pride in quality workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual and dependable
  • A strong work ethic
  • Can work independently and unsupervised
  • Can problem-solve and figure things out when unexpected issues arise
  • Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality
  • Organized, clean and respectful of customers’ homes
  • Understand the importance of keeping a job site clean, safe and professional
  • Good communication skills and can work well with customers, contractors and our team
  • Willing to learn new products, techniques and installation methods
  • Take ownership of their work and stands behind the finished product
  • A “do it right, not just do it fast” mentality
  • Physically capable of performing the demands of a construction/renovation job
  • A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
