The Municipality of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes is seeking a motivated and collaborative professional to join our team as Assistant Director General (ADG).
This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Director General and municipal Councils to support the administration and development of our community.
We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic municipal environment where priorities may evolve and collaboration is essential.
This position may also support governance and administrative coordination across partner municipalities as part of ongoing shared service initiatives.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
College or university education in public administration, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience working in municipal administration is an asset
Previous experience as a Municipal Director, Assistant Director General, Clerk-Treasurer, or Department Manager is considered an asset
Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and work independently when required
Professional judgment, discretion, and attention to detail
Bilingual (French and English), spoken and written; is required.
