Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant to provide excellent customer service at our convenience store. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operation of the station, assist customers with their needs, and maintain a clean and organized environment. Bilingual skills and familiarity with retail sales and POS systems are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and sales opportunities.

Duties

• Greet customers promptly and courteously, providing exceptional customer service.
• Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and receipts.
• Assist customers with fueling their vehicles, including managing payment processes.
• Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness of the station, including fueling areas, convenience store shelves, and restrooms.
• Restock merchandise and organize displays to promote products effectively.
• Handle phone inquiries professionally and provide information about services or products.
• Manage inventory levels and report shortages or issues to management.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.

Skills

• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Customer service-oriented with a friendly demeanor.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
• Experience with POS systems and retail merchandising is preferred.
• Ability to perform cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Organizational skills to keep the work area tidy and stocked.
• Phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and vendors.
• Sales skills including upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.65 per hour
