Responsibilities
● Assist climber from the ground, use ropes, haul brush from site to truck, use both hand and power tools, and clean the worksite.
● Progressively learn within the team with opportunity for paid educational advancement.
● Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other equipment as needed.
● Drive to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a valid driving license.
● Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively in both English and French to enhance operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:
● Passion & motivation to work with trees.
● Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
● Knowledge of ropes, knots, rigging, and tree cutting practices are an asset.
● High regard for safety.
● Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50lbs+) & ability to perform repetitive tasks safely.
● Confident & ability to work with & around machines.
● Self motivated & ability to manage time effectively.
● Professional & respectful to all team members, clients, and properties.
● Ability to maintain arborist equipment considered an asset.
● Interest in green initiatives.
● High school diploma or equivalent. Post secondary education preferred.
● Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
● Valid driver’s license and great driving record is preferred.

Juneau Tree Services Ltd was founded in the spring of 2024 by Patrick and Katelyn Juneau. With a shared love of the environment and a vision of environmental stewardship, the Juneau’s put their years of studies and experience to work to create the first low environmental impact arboriculture service in the Ottawa Valley!
