About Us

Prairie and Luna Cannabis Co. is a locally owned cannabis retailer built on friendly, knowledgeable service and a welcoming store experience. We’re growing our team and looking to fill a Keyholder position to help us run a smooth, compliant, and positive shop.

About the Role

This is a casual, part-time position with the potential for more hours as we grow. As a Keyholder, you’ll be a trusted member of our in-store team, opening and closing the store, leading the floor when management isn’t on site, and making sure every customer gets great customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Open and/or close the store, including cash counts, alarm setup, and securing the premises.
  • Budtending by providing knowledgeable, friendly customer service and product recommendations
  • Verify valid government-issued ID for customers, in line with AGCO and Ontario cannabis regulations
  • Process sales accurately using the POS system
  • Assist with receiving weekly inventory
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with all provincial and federal requirements
  • Support fellow team members and handle customer questions or concerns
  • Follow all safety, security, and loss-prevention procedures

Requirements

  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Valid CannSell certification (required)
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check (required)
  • Previous retail experience preferred; cannabis retail experience is an asset
  • Prior keyholder or lead experience is an asset
  • Strong cash-handling skills, attention to detail and balancing registers.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable being responsible for the store
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Organizational skills to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical capability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during shifts at times

Pay: $18.50 per hour
