Location: The Moose on Round Lake at 3735 Round Lake Rd, Killaloe, ON K0J 2A0, Canada
Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $26.00/ hourly, commensurate with experience.
About Us: The Moose on Round Lake is a new, Italian inspired, cottage country (close to) lakeside restaurant located in the Bonnechere Valley.

Job Description
We are seeking passionate and creative cooks to join our culinary team in delivering a consistent, fun dining experience. The ideal candidates will have passion for great food and are eager to learn in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a cook, you will be responsible for overseeing your station duties, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are met.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
– Support all aspects of the daily operations, including food preparation and execution.
– Help to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
– Support kitchen team members, providing support to ensure efficient operations.
– Help to foster a positive work environment.
– Assist the chef in managing inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively.
Skills & Qualifications:
– Proven track record as a cook.
– The ability to multi-task and stay organized.
– Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
– Good communication and problem-solving skills.
– Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
– Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience:
– A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
License/Certification:
– Smart Serve (preferred)
– Food Handler Certification (preferred)
