We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and safety of our facilities and equipment. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports our operational needs. The Maintenance Person will work closely with other team members to perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.

Duties

  • Conduct routine inspections of buildings, machinery, and equipment to identify issues or potential hazards.
  • Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other building infrastructure as needed.
  • Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with installation of new equipment or systems.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized repairs or services when necessary.

Skills

  • Proven experience in general maintenance, repair work, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and basic carpentry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety protocols.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing ladders.
