Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, positive and motivated individual to join the team in our Optometry office.

The Optical Assistant plays an important role in supporting patients with their eyewear and contact lens needs within our optometry practice. This position combines customer service with technical skills to help patients select, fit, and care for their glasses and contact lenses. The Optical Assistant works closely with Optometrists and licensed Opticians to ensure that each patient leaves the optical department feeling clear, confident and comfortable in their eyewear of choice.

The successful candidate will be hard-working, kind, patient and optimistic. Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone with excellent organizational and time-management skills. Although not required, bilingualism would be an asset for this position. Furthermore, previous experience in customer service, a medical setting, or optical work would be an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.87-$20.62 per hour
