Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth office operations. This role requires strong administrative skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a dealership is a bonus, but not required.

Duties

  • Greet visitors and clients warmly, maintaining a professional front desk presence
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Perform data entry with accuracy into various systems such as QuickBooks and other databases
  • Handle filing, record keeping, and document management to ensure organized office operations
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks including invoicing, payment processing, and payable handling
  • Provide customer support via phone, email, or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
  • Support administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, organizing meetings, and organizing work place events
  • Being educated in provincial compliances and auditing work
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and office supplies
  • Providing the greatest customer service you can
  • Understanding the products we sell and services we offer

Requirements

  • Proven clerical or administrative experience, preferably in an office setting or dealership
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry tools
  • Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is desirable but not required
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in typing and proofreading
  • Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and manage front desk responsibilities
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
  • Previous experience in medical or dental offices is a plus but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently while supporting team needs as required
  • Be comfortable being on camera in videos or pictures for social media
  • Minimum G2 license
  • No criminal record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
