Smitty’s Home Hardware is a family owned and operated hardware and building supply company. We offer a wide range of services including home and cottage building designs, kitchen design and installation, key cutting, propane tank exchange and more. Located in Laurentian Valley between Pembroke and Petawawa, open seven days a week.

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Associate. This is a full-time position at 32-40 hrs a week that includes weekday and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

Working with contractors and customers to source their building and renovation needs including paint, hardware, plumbing, electrical and outdoor needs.

Setup and maintenance of store promotions

Stocking shelves

Merchandising

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

A positive attitude and a solid work ethic

Professional, reliable and friendly person

Excellent customer service skills

Can handle a fast-paced environment

Previous retail experience considered an asset

Open to learning new about new products and services

Flexible availability for work
