Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers with product selection and project advice
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor
  • Provide accurate information on products, pricing, and promotions
  • Support various departments (lumber, hardware, seasonal, etc.) as needed
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and handle transactions when required
  • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver excellent customer service

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Retail or customer service experience is an asset
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed
  • Bilingual abilities (English required; additional languages are advantageous)
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and sales calculations
  • Organizational skills to manage merchandising displays and stock levels
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize responsibilities during shifts
  • Day, evening, and weekend availability required
