We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our growing team. This hands-on role will give you the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the company’s supply chain management system, including logistics, shipping, receiving, purchasing, sales, and inventory management, all while fostering positive relationships with couriers, suppliers, and customers. While your primary focus will be shipping and receiving, candidates eager to develop skills in other supply chain activities will have opportunities to grow into broader roles over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end inbound and outbound shipping and receiving activities.
  • Unpack, inspect, and verify incoming goods; resolve shipping discrepancies.
  • Accurately prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs forms for international shipments.
  • Obtain rate quotes, arrange freight and coordinate all shipping logistics.
  • Pack, label, and ship parcels, crates and pallets, including dangerous goods.
  • Operate equipment and tools (e.g., pallet jacks, drills, saws, scales, strapping tools) safely.
  • Regularly lift and move heavy boxes and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry or purchase order processing as needed.
  • Collaborate with the sales and field operations team to ensure customer needs are prioritized.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completion of a post-secondary diploma or demonstrated experience in shipping/receiving, logistics coordination or warehousing is required.
  • Experience preparing shipping and receiving documents is required.
  • Experience in an electronics manufacturing or other manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is required; SAP or ERP experience is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with procurement practices is an asset.
  • Familiarity with ITAR regulations and transportation of dangerous goods is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Due to security requirements, must be a Canadian or US citizen, or a permanent resident of Canada; criminal record check required as a condition of employment.
